Inglis and Surace Pty Ltd trading as Defence Coating Systems was established in 1996 by Andrew Inglis and Lou Surace. The company has now expanded its factory from 710 square meters to the 2700 square meters it now utilises. Defence Coating Systems have sophisticated equipment including eight Wet Spray Paint Booths, two Blasting Systems, Chemical Pre-treatment, Conveyorised Powder Coating System with automatic guns and an online Iron Phosphate pre-treatment.

Defence Coating Systems have the ability to process different dimensions, profiles, substrates and quantities, for a variety of industries including Defence, Mining, and Original Equipment Manufacturers. Defence Coating Systems is the preferred coating specialist for major defence projects that require offsite component painting to MIL-SPECS.

Defence Coating Systems have completed specialised services for the Australian Defence Forces in the world's most hostile environments, and also delicate enviorments used by Original Equipment Manufacturers in the production of medical, architectural and home appliances.
